Prof. Cummins to Lecure at UUSIC

University of Iowa Professor of Philosophy Phillip Cummins will give a lecture entitled, “How Philosophy Freed Itself From Religion.” Prof. Cummins will speak to the Secular Humanist group which meets at the Unitarian Universalists Society of Iowa City. The lecture will be in Channing Hall (moved from the Fireside Room) at the UUSIC at 10 S. Gilbert St, Iowa City, IA beginning at 7:00 p.m.

    I’ve heard excellent things about Dr. Cummins’ work. This promises to be a very good lecture.

    As expected, Dr. Cummins delivered a very interesting lecture. It sparked a lively debate on a variety of issues and I think gave everyone in attendence a few things to think about.
