Does this sound wrong to anyone?  Why is the State of Iowa funding or reimburseing busing for private schools?
Does anyone have more informatino on this?

"This allows the district to follow state law that requires school districts to either provide transportation for private schools or give the reimbursement to those families, Plugge said. In addition, district officials also would not have to renegotiate its contract with teachers over working hours, nor worry about cutting busing for entities such as child care and Tate High, which draws students from around the district, he said.
